Inauguration of Itacorda
Founded on 02/10/1988, Itacorda started its activities in the city of Itajaí, in the Salseiros neighborhood.
Its production was focused on the manufacture of twisted palm ropes and, over time, expanded to the production of polypropylene braided ropes.
New Headquarters
With the expansion of its brand in the national market and greater diversification of products, on 11/18/2002, it inaugurated its new headquarters in the city of Penha-SC.
Industrial Park Expansion
Invested in expanding the industrial park and introduced new products into its sales portfolio, increasing its market share by seeking new references.
Investments
In search of excellence in service and quality, it opened its new factory store with spacious and comfortable space, becoming a model store in its business sector. It also set up its own laboratory, becoming a pioneer in the rope, tie-downs, and lifting rope industry in Brazil by having technical reports issued according to Brazilian standards.
Expansion to Latin America
In January 2017, it opened its new plant in the city of Limpio, Paraguay, with large installations and a focus on producing tie-downs for cargo and ropes of various models. The new phase significantly increased its participation in the Latin American market.
Expansion to North America
Office in Miami for exports to the United States and the beginning of Amazon operations.
